Becoming H.E.R. was written from a place of healing, not heartbreak.

More than a decade ago, Jennifer Amarteifio walked through a deeply refining season marked by separation, surrender, and a 40-day fast that God used to begin transforming her from the inside out. In that season, God began healing wounds, breaking unhealthy attachments, and teaching her what it meant to trust Him fully—even when His timing did not align with her own.

Two years later, God restored the very relationship she had surrendered. But the greatest miracle was not the restoration—it was who Jennifer had become in the process.

Now, over twelve years later, Jennifer wrote Becoming H.E.R. with the clarity, wisdom, and spiritual maturity that only time, healing, and walking with God can produce. This devotional is not a reaction to pain, but an invitation into transformation.

Today, Jennifer and her husband Festus lead Intentional Rising, where they help individuals around the world develop spiritual discernment, experience inner healing, and prepare for Christ-centered relationships. Through Becoming H.E.R., Jennifer now guides women through this same journey of becoming healed, established, and rooted in Christ.
